We are looking for a Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer you help WWL to become more data driven. We have grown rapidly in recent years and data is increasingly important to keep this up. We have worked hard on designing a central data platform and of course someone is now needed to further develop and monitor this.
As a Data Engineer you will work in a young and dynamic team, there are many opportunities to develop yourself and take on projects. Because the data-driven way of working is still under development, you will immediately see the effect of your work and help our fast-growing eCommerce company.

The Role

  • Developing and optimizing data Pipelines. When you discover errors, you solve them quickly and efficiently;
  • Monitoring data Pipelines and AWS infrastructure;
  • Building new Machine Learning and other data products;
  • Seek coordination with your colleagues and external parties.

Job requirements

Your Profile

  • A Bachelor or Master degree, preferably with an econometric, statistical, mathematical and/or strong ICT component;
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably within eCommerce;
  • Demonstrable work experience in AWS with:
    o Databases (Redshift, DynamoDB)
    o CDK
    o IAM
    o ETL
    o Serverless Functions
    o APIs
    o Monitoring, Alerting;
  • Experience with Phyton, SQL, Data Modeling and Calling RESTful APIs;
  • You are communicative and a team player.
