We are looking for a Manager E-mail & Marketing Automation
As an Email & Marketing Automation Manager you will manage a small team (2FTE). But you are also the one who adds creativity and commercial focus and helps ensure that the company can grow.
In addition, you coordinate and build digital campaigns, including various email newsletters, automated lead nurturing campaigns and customer account notifications. You will focus on both revenue-generating campaigns and branding promotions. But also service-related campaigns with which we make our customers even happier!

In addition to taking the results to a higher level within the e-mail domain, you also connect with customer service, the insights team and the sales organization so that we also offer the right experience for our customer cross-channel.

The Role

  • You set up the strategy for e-mail/automation and are ultimately responsible for growing email revenue in all countries;
  • You analyze and manage on KPIs such as deliverability, open and click-through rates, conversion/bounce rates and database growth over time;
  • You guide the team and give them the opportunities to develop;
  • You work together with IT for technical solutions and with the Customer Insight Team when creating new campaigns and optimizing current campaigns;
  • Assist in the team's analytical efforts, including identifying trends and using testing methods to deliver the best results (eg A/B testing, frequency, timing, etc.);
  • You make journeys transparent and you optimize them, whereby you also dare to look outside your own domain.

Job requirements

Your Profile

  • A Bachelor or Master degree;
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years experience in a similar position;
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language;
  • Advanced HTML & CSS knowledge (for email purposes);
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing marketing databases and work experience with email marketing (ESPs), consumer messaging and automation tools;
  • Strong communicator, knows how to make connections and to connect with other departments;
  • Minimum 2 years experience in web analytics platforms (eg Google Analytics);
  • You are able to translate, communicate and distil statistics in a feasible marketing framework.
