Role Overview  
As an experienced Business Developer, you will play a key role inbe responsible for  driving growth and building strong, lasting relationships with our valued customers across Sweden and Norway. This role combines the strategic foresight needed to identify new business opportunities (short en medium term) with hands-on sales expertise. You’ll work closely with important customers to understand their needs, expand our market footprint, and generate revenue growth. You also ensure that all customer questions, quotation requests and orders are handled by you or the team at the end of the day. You do this in fluent Swedish.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Identify potential from customers, from existing customers but also from newly acquired customers.  

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, positioning our brand as a trusted and reliable partner.  

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities to increase market share in Sweden and Norway.  

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective account management, lead generation, and consultative selling.  

  • Work closely with customers to understand their lighting needs in products and services and propose tailored solutions.  

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, finance,  product, and technical support, to ensure customers receive exceptional service.  

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategy and product offerings.  

Job requirements

Qualifications  

  • You have a start up mentiality, willing to do whatever it takes to achieve your goals.  

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within the lighting industry or a related field.  

  • Strong understanding of the Swedish and Norwegian markets, with established networks or a demonstrated ability to build them.  

  • You have established a network in your current industry, which you can use in this role; could be as sparring partner, business partner or customer.  

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels.  

  • Proactive and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.  

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.  

  • Fluency in Swedish and/or Norwegian, along with strong English language skills.
